A Christmas filled with solidarity and kindness

As the holiday season approached, eight elementary school groups from L’École L’Eau-Vive had the privilege of visiting groups of seniors to share a moment of joy, presence, and comfort during Christmas.

These visits, carefully prepared by the students and their teachers, created valuable intergenerational exchanges. Through songs, kind words, small gestures, and above all, their sincere presence, our students offered much more than a simple visit: they brought light, listening, and hope.

For many seniors, these moments were filled with emotion and gratitude. For our students, this experience was a concrete opportunity to live out the values of respect, compassion, and solidarity that we seek to convey on a daily basis.

These encounters remind us of the importance of caring for one another and recognizing the richness that each generation represents. We are proud of our students who, through their actions, show their caring hearts and help spread the Christmas spirit far beyond the school walls.

A huge thank you to the teachers, chaperones, and care facilities that made these visits possible.
